Wedding Ceremony in Japan

In Japan, spring and autumn with their mild climates are popular seasons for wedding ceremonies, of which there are three main styles.

There are Christian style, Japanese style (held at a shrine), and the making of wedding vows in front of guests.

Nowadays the majority of ceremonies are Christian style. Most of them are held at hotels or ceremony halls. Many brides want to wear white, Christian style dresses, and some religious ceremonies are even held completely in Christian style at a Christian church even though the couple may not be Christian.

After the collapse of the bubble economy, a simple ceremony called "Jimikon" Jimi means conservative has become popular among couples considering getting married, but in recent years, a more showy ceremony is again gaining popularity while the number of overseas weddings is also increasing.

However, recently the case of shotgun wedding (it called “dekicyatta-kon” in Japan) is increased, and 82% of all "dekichyatta kon" babies, more than any other age group, are born to teenage mothers, so some people don’t have their wedding.

To me, wedding is a dream of girls, so I really want to have a wedding.

This is the wedding which my favorite model had.
She was particular about what she chose in the wedding, so the wedding was cute, pretty, and fashionable.

When I saw this wedding on a magazine, I felt I can’t wait to get married!
My parents had both are Christian style and Japanese style weddings, I hope I can have both weddingsJ
